    Healthy life style habits and telomerase enzyme

    How do you know if you have good genes that will be the factor of your long life past 90? What areas of my life can I improve on to help me live longer? There are a few ways that you can guarantee a long healthy life. Here is some advice on how to optimize your body’s efficiency.

    1.    Genes. We’d all like to know if we have the right genes to take us far into old age. Have a look at your family tree and find out if you have any blood relatives that have survived past ninety years old. If they are, then your chances of having good genes just doubled.

    2.    Lots of Sleep. Get a lot of rest, this is extremely important for your body to rest and recuperate. Take a short nap in the afternoon; people who nap are known to live longer.

    3.    Good Food. Take good care of what you put in your body; do you eat too many high calorie foods? Are you eating a balanced diet, with lots of fruits and vegetables? Unfortunately, most overweight people live shorter lives.

    4.    Lots of Exercise. It’s very important to remain active; even a small amount of exercise a day will help to improve your health. Research has proven that those who regularly participate in a fitness program will have longer life spans.

    5.    Cut out Bad Habits. If you are a smoker or heavy drinker, then it would be advisable to decrease your intake. It is well known that these habits can cause you several serious medical conditions. The perfect scenario would be to completely stop for good.

    6.    Hope. You may be surprised to know that having faith in a religion reduces peoples stress levels and gives them a feeling of well being. Studies show people who believe in god enjoy longer happier lives. 

    7.    Telomerase enzyme. A little enzyme called telomerase was discovered and won Nobel Prize recently all because it was the primal and contributing factor on the length of telomeres. Long telomeres are allowing cells to divide, but that division makes them shorter. If the cells can’t divide, you age and die very fast. Taking a telomerase enzyme supplement should help to make us live 40% longer, according to latest research.
