    TMJ Disorder: A Painful Experience

    September 5th, 2010 by admin

I am suffering of TMJ disorder for the past five years. I am now in college at Brown University, taking up business administration. This pain that I’m feeling in my jaws are not as bad as it was before thanks to TMJ exercises. This particular disorder I have caused so many problems for me in the past. I was not able to be one of the top students of my class back in high school because my absences are sky rocketing during the last months of the school year to the tenderness of my jaws. It was quite awhile since I discovered TMJ exercises. It is a lifesaver. I have tried so many medications in the past, acetaminophen, herbal teas and so many drugs I cannot even remember but the pain does not subside until I have learned about TMJ exercises over the internet.

The worst pain I have ever felt was three years ago where in I was so stressed with schoolwork and completely forgot about my TMJ disorder. The pain was unbearable and I could not feel my jaws. I could not move them that is why I was rushed to the hospital and the doctors gave me an intravenous pain reliever. It was indeed a painful memory. However, after that incident, I search in the internet about what TMJ was and I found out the TMJ exercises can help alleviate the pain, hence, gaining more control of TMJ and not vice versa. I would never go back to feeling helpless and in pain ever again, thanks to TMJ exercises.
